“I’ve done a whole bunch of one-on-one sessions with him in Brisbane, and he was absolutely amazing . . many things and yeh the embodied tools and techniques are what I find actually makes a difference to my life, instead of just learning more and then nothing changing. Everyone is different but who would benefit? I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend Trevor to anyone. Everyone can potentially benefit as long as they are open and they feel it resonates with them. It’s appropriate for everyone. It’s a really safe and supportive environment; especially from Trevor, but also equally from all the other people involved in the work. If it’s group work in my experience. I have a great trust with Trevor in our relationship so we can sink straight into it really quickly, no muckin’ around. Which is good, really good”.

“The way Trevor was able to really focus on people . . how sensitive he was . . Like intuitively he just knew what to say, or what was the right technique to use. It’s possible for me to do the work. It’s not something I would necessarily need to be afraid of. It was transforming for me. It opened up possibilities for me, I think”.

“He creates a safe space for me to be safe and to explore the challenging situation I’m facing. Because it’s a body oriented therapy, so rather than just sitting talking to someone for an hour it can involve getting up and doing things that move the body and initially that can be just weird because that’s not a very common form of therapy, even though it makes common sense. But yeah there’s that initial unfamiliarity about physically moving the energy that I can feel in my body. If you have a tendency to get all caught up in your head and chewing your issues over constantly and trying to solve it all through thinking it through and if that doesn’t really help, if that’s still happening after all this time, then I think this work could benefit someone like that because that’s kind of what I do. Someone who is aware that they have something that’s holding them back. A pattern that’s hindering them and don’t really know what it is, don’t know where to look . . I would say er . . if someone was feeling resistance but was curious about trying this work, it’s your life and you’re the one who’s going to benefit if something that you do, works for you”.

“You can go a certain way by yourself but it’s really helpful at some point to have some input from others such as Trevor. It was great being in the group for other people’s processes because there are always things that link in with your own process. It’s great to have that opportunity to witness someone else’s journey and to have other people to support you as well and to support them. Trevor seems to be really intuitive in the way that he can kinda access what is really the crux of the issue often. He’s really supportive, really offers just the chance to bring anything to the table and just know that it will really be fine to do that, yeah. For me, expression of personal issues in a group is really challenging for sure. But it was such a . . I don’t know the group, the whole group was really supportive. Trevor held the space really well and . . and so it was worth sort of pushing through those hesitations and you know pushing through the fear and actually . . yeah . . taking the chance to explore some of the issues. I think a really wide range of people could benefit to be honest. Erm anyone who just needs a bit of extra support or encouragement to look at erm, I don’t know, why they feel held back in life in certain ways or if they have issues that are really apparent to them but they don’t know how to deal with. Or if they just don’t feel right, if they feel stuck in any way. I would say just do it! If you’re interested, if you have the interest to do it, just go for it! There’s bound to be resistance, that’s part of the whole process and by doing it you’ll just, you’ll break that resistance down and you’ll really benefit”.

“And yeah, so I started doing some kind of, one on one sessions with him and pretty quickly saw some results . . from doing that work and then wanted to kind of continue doing that. It’s certainly a different process working with Trevor. I hadn’t had too much experience with any other kinds of psychology or other modalities of therapy um . . but there’s something about working with Trevor and the embodied nature, like the body psychotherapy element of it, that I felt it was far more beneficial than simply just talking about something. From the small experience that I had had with other kinds of therapy, I just found that that was far more beneficial for me. I could instantly see the effects, like the positive effects that that was having on my life. I think a lot of people would benefit from doing this kind of work. I would go so far as to say that everyone would but I also think that there has to be a willingness to want to do it as well. Whereas everyone could get benefit from it, I think you really have to want to have something in your life that you want to change or improve. Or something that you wanna grow through. I think feeling resistance towards this kind of work, is almost more of a reason to do it. I feel like we often resist things that we know would be good for us. And so if this work has kind of come to you and you’re in a position where it could possibly help, I feel like resistance is all the more reason to actually go for it and give it a go. Right from the get go working with Trevor he just, he holds this space and he just has this understanding energy that you feel like you can, I immediately I felt like I could talk to him about anything, express anything that I was feeling and there would be just total acceptance there. There was no judgement. As a facilitator for that, I couldn’t imagine anyone being better than Trevor.

"The retreat was an incredibly powerful experience for me. It has been an essential step in my journey to come into a fully embodied, powerful, rich physical existence. I walked out in a grounded, strong, present state, I hadn't experienced that before, and the subsequent shifts that have unfolded in the week since the retreat have been deep and incredibly aligned to my soul path.
I deeply appreciate the space you created and held over
the retreat. I experienced a strong, fluid, fun space in which anything and everything that I needed to let out was welcome. I was honoured to take part in the releases and experiences of the rest of the group, and I felt supported and respected by the group in my own personal process."

"I respect and appreciate the energy that you bring to your work and to the retreat - I felt your whole Being there, with all of yourself, all your emotion, caring, strength, rawness, humanity, and deep belief in the work.
I'm loving the new experience that Core Energetics is giving me - to have such an open space to physically express everything I feel is ground-breaking for me, and is opening the way for a new way of being where my authentic physical Being is honoured at all times as I move around my world. This is an inspiring vision for me, and one that seems rare as I look around the culture in which I live.
Thank you again Trevor, for putting all your energy and care into creating such a transformational experience."

"By creating a very supportive environment and involving everyone, Trevor allowed us to enter into this work almost effortlessly. He seemed to know where everyone was at and what they needed. This made the Bellbunya Retreat very effective, nurturing and very moving. It was an uplifting and motivating experience in a very special venue. For the first time I was able to connect with my body. I felt how amazing that was and it made me realise I need to make this work my daily priority to allow me to move on with my life.

"This work has brought radical changes into my life, and made a difference to my way of relating to others and the world. Core Energetics has helped me deal with chronic pain, anxiety and major life challenges. It has given me tools to connect to love and trust my own wisdom. In group, I find out who I am and how the world sees me. It is an opportunity to explore different ways of being in the world, and to have those ways reflected back to me by the other participants. Moments of stillness in the company of others teach me I don’t have to perform a specific function or fulfill a purpose to be a valued member of the group. My value is in turning up and bringing all parts of myself to the group experience. Group therapy invites a depth of intimacy not generally available in the world and ongoing attendance is a powerful call to my truth. Week after week, I get more real.
